The MK2 Sales Brochure below was kindly sent to us by Tony Holmes. it is a wonderful piece of artwork that was produced for Hawtin’s of Blackpool between 1946 and 1947, previous to this brochure all other Hawtin’s MK2 images displayed the machine with the Jack Hylton name on the front of them, and they previously had no playing mechanism viewing window. so this shows that these design changes were implemented by Hawtin’s design team, and not by Ditchburn after they bought the rights to manufacture them.
